Abstract (EN)
In today's world, where technology is developed and widely used, energy consumption is increasing. Renewable energy sources and especially the importance of solar energy is increasing day by day in order to meet the energy needs in a cheap and environmentally friendly way. In this study, a separate simulation program was performed for the photovoltaic (PV) system and the photovoltaic thermal (PV/T) system using Matlab/simulink software. For this purpose, single diode equivalent circuit and liquid type planar PV/T collector systems, which are suitable for electricity generation and hot water supply, are preferred. Hottel-Whillier equations were used in the computer program made with Matlab/Simulink to determine the energy produced by the single diode equivalent circuit and liquid type planar PV/T collector system. Here, the current and voltage are calculated and the thermal efficiency and electrical efficiency of the liquid type planar PV/T collector system are calculated. Mathematical models for the PV system characterizing each part of the system with variables such as collector area, open circuit voltage, short circuit current, maximum voltage, maximum current, solar radiation, short circuit current temperature coefficient, open circuit voltage temperature coefficient, series and parallel resistance. Analyzed and the appropriate estimated value of all components in the independent system was calculated. In addition, the thermal and electrical efficiencies of the variable parameters of fluid velocity, collector area, wind speed, solar radiation, mounting angle, sealing factor, glazed/non-glass surface, absorbency coefficient and number of covers were obtained for the PV/T system. Depending on the solar radiation of the PV system; collector current, collector voltage, filling factor and electrical efficiency were calculated. Thermal and electrical efficiency analysis of the planar liquid type collector with glassed PV/T and glassless PV/T systems was made and theoretically (G/Ti-Ta) and thermal conductivity coefficient were calculated using the Hottel-Whillier model. According to the simulation results, the collector current for the PV system is 4.3A, the collector voltage is 9.26V, the collector filling factor is 0.66, and the electrical efficiency is 14.37%. In glass PV/T systems, the thermal efficiency value is calculated as 76.86% and the electrical efficiency value is calculated as 20.13%. In unglazed PV/T systems, it was determined that the thermal efficiency value was 72.34% and the electrical efficiency was 21.11%.
