Mehemmed Eli Ferzane bayatılar: Introduction-analyses-text-index

This study was composed through analysis of the literary work, titled ?Bayatılar?, as a folk literature compilation written by Mehemmed Eli Ferzane in Tahran in 1365 / 1987. The study consist of four parts. There is extensive information on the history and language of South Azarbaidjan, the biography of the author and ?bayatı? in the first part of the study. In the second part, the literary work is studied in terms of morphology and phonetics. In the third part, the work originally written in Arabic alphabet transcripted into Latin alphabet. In the last part, a comprehensive directory of text is provided as a glossary. Key words: Ferzane, South Azerbaidjan, bayatı, Turkish halk poem
