Abstract (EN)

This study investigates solutions for enhancing digital financial security in the emerging metaverse environment. As banking services increasingly adopt extended reality technologies - including virtual reality (VR) for immersive digital environments, augmented reality (AR) for overlaying digital information on the physical world, and mixed reality (MR) that blends and interacts with real-world elements - new vulnerabilities threaten financial transactions. The integration of AI with 5G networks further compounds both the opportunities and security challenges in this digital frontier. Using a quantitative approach, the research surveyed 350 banking professionals about financial safety measures. The questionnaire collected demographic data, assessed perceived benefits of security solutions, and examined factors influencing safety improvements. Chi-square tests analyzed relationships between technology usage levels and perceived security effectiveness. Key findings revealed strong support for advanced security measures, with 59.7% of respondents strongly endorsing multi-factor authentication and 56.8% favoring advanced encryption methods. However, analysis showed no significant correlation between metaverse adoption levels and perceived financial safety (p=0.084). These results highlight the need for integrated security frameworks combining technical solutions with user education and regulatory standards.
