Abstract (EN)

The formation of journals are—much to the delight of their compliers—invaluable to Turkish literature. In recent years, journals have come to hold immense value together with the research that has been done on them. Journals are a respectable resource both for accessing new information as well as for filling in gaps in information. In this paper, Journal 06 Mil Yz. A 1694 from Ankara National Library Manuscripts Collection. This journal, which is comprised of 55 individual folios, contains the works of 15th and 16th century poets. As sections of this journal are written in Persian, only their transcribed and translated Turkish versions have been given. In this study, the concept of the journals alongside information about their importance and characteristics are touched upon. The methods observed in terms of how the journal was put together are also mentioned. Using MESTAP as a point of reference, short biographies of the poets featured in the journal have been written and collected into a table. An overall evaluation of the journal has been provided in the concluding chapter.
