Abstract (EN)
.Magazines hold a significant place in our literary history. When viewed from a content perspective, the information they provide is significantly more significant. The wide range of writing possibilities offered by magazines creates a free environment for the creator—the author, scribe, or compositor. Magazines offer us a wide range of opportunities, both for poetry that enhances our aesthetic pleasure and for the various records that serve us in social life. The journal examined in this study is a poetry journal titled "Mecmua-i Eş'ar," numbered 06 Mil Yz A 1879 and housed in the National Library. The editor(s) of this journal are unknown, but based on some historical records and poets it contains, it can be assumed that it was compiled in the 19th century. In this context, our aim in this study is not only to uncover poems not previously encountered in literature but also to transcribe and analyze this journal, which interweaves the verse forms of folk literature with those of classical literature. The analysis revealed poems composed in a wide range of verse forms, from the vocabulary used in the century in which they were compiled to medical prescriptions and recipes for social use, from folk songs to ghazals. The first section presents information about the concept of the journal, identifying the poets, centuries, and verse forms used through tables. A description of the journal's copies is provided, and spelling errors identified throughout the journal are addressed. The second section presents the methodology employed in constructing the text, the text transcribed into the Latin alphabet, and the conclusion. Key Words: Classical Turkish Literature, Folk Literature, Poetry Magazine.
