Abstract (EN)

Molla KHalīl Siirdī (d. 1259/1843) is one of the last Ottoman scholars. He grew up in Hizan, a province of Bitlis, and continued his teaching activities in many places, especially in Siirt. His name is mentioned in the ijazet sequences read in today's traditional eastern madrasahs and he is considered the teacher of many scholars who continue their teaching activities. Molla Halil, who has copyrights in almost every field of Islamic Sciences, has written works in the field of recitation and tajweed. In the study, the life of Molla Halil Siirdî was included and the analysis of the treatise was carried out by comparing the manuscripts of the Kurdish verse tajved treatise known as "Risâle fi İlmi't-Tecvid" or "Risâle Tecwide", which consists of 235 couplets that he wrote about the science of tajved. The study consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the first chapter, information about the life and works of Molla Halil is given. In the second part, the treatise and the copies reached are discussed. However, the treatise, which was written in Kurdish, was both Latinized and explained in Turkish. In the conclusion part of the thesis, the conclusions reached are given and a general evaluation of the subject is made.
