Muhammed Bin Selman liderliğinde Suudi Arabistan örneği

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural transformation the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing during the rule of Prince Mohammed bin Salman in economic, social, and political perspectives related to Saudi Vision 2030. In this regard, the study applied the theory of structural transformations to analyze such transformations and then made some comparisons between those transformations that took place in the Kingdom and others in the UAE and Qatar. The study adopted a qualitative analysis approach based on secondary sources, including official speeches, reports from international organizations, previous studies, and academic articles. The findings revealed that the Kingdom is striving with effort to decrease its dependence on oil by developing new sectors like tourism, technology, and renewable energy; projects such as NEOM and Qiddiya are the most prominent examples of achieving economic diversification. On the social level, the study showed major reforms that empowered women and improved education and, despite some challenges with resistance from conservative groups, contributed to an enhancement of social and educational rights. On the level of political reforms, the enhancement of transparency and fighting against corruption contributes to the stability of a political system the Kingdom seeks. However, the Kingdom faces several challenges, such as the resistance of some traditional groups to change in the social and political spheres. The study concluded that these structural transformations represent essential steps towards achieving Saudi Vision 2030, with significant progress towards building a more diverse and sustainable society and economy.
