Abstract (EN)

Muhammed Hamidullah has presented an unparalleled biography of Prophet Muhammad, utilizing scientific methods and a unique perspective on materials available for centuries. He has addressed the Prophet's struggle in a manner that resonates with modern intellectuals. This study specifically examines Hamidullah's approach to the biography of the Islamic Prophet, focusing on how he brought the Prophet's life struggle to the present day using the methods and techniques of the modern age. It discusses Hamidullah's efforts to convey and narrate the Prophet's life to contemporary audiences, his perspective on Sira, and the guidance he provided to young researchers in this field. The study also analyzes the methods and techniques used by Hamidullah in historical narration, the modern concepts and analyses incorporated into Sira, and how he illuminated certain obscure aspects of the Prophet's life, including the use of sketches and maps. Additionally, the study examines the Prophet's life sociologically, providing insights into various aspects such as military, cultural, political, and societal conditions of that era. Unlike classical Sira scholars, Hamidullah's presentation of Sira is markedly different. He eschews a narrative filled with anecdotes, instead focusing on the human aspect of the Prophet and the universal message he brought. In this regard, the work "Islam Prophet" holds a completely different place from Sira works written in his time and earlier periods.
