Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to examine the burnout syndrome among professional accountants in Batman province and the effects of this syndrome on job performance. Since professional accountants work in a special region such as Batman province, it is possible that the conditions specific to the region will have different effects on these professional groups. In this context, the thesis aims to determine the burnout level of accounting professionals in Batman province and to evaluate the potential effects of this burnout syndrome on their job performance. Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, the thesis will analyze the symptoms of burnout syndrome among professional accountants in Batman province and the effects of this syndrome on job performance. Methods such as surveys, interviews and literature review will allow the research to be conducted comprehensively. The results of the research will reveal how the job performance of professional accountants in Batman province is affected when they experience burnout syndrome and will offer specific solution suggestions for this situation. This study, conducted on the example of Batman province, aims to develop applicable strategies to increase the quality of work life of professional accountants, taking into account regional differences.
