An investigation on Mustafa Zeki Pasha's missions as the Minister of Military Schools and the Tophane-i Amire Marshal

The main purpose of the study is to reveal the period of Military Schools Minister and Tophane-i Amire Marshal of the statesman Mustafa Zeki Pasha, who lived in 1849-1914, served as Minister of Military Schools for 25 years and Tophane-i Amire Marshal for 17 years during the Second Abdulhamid period. Mustafa Zeki Pasha was born in 1849 in Kemer village, Bozdoğan town of Aydın province. He graduated from the Erkan-ı Harbiye Mektebi in 1872 with the rank of Staff Captain. He was the aide of Müşir Süleyman Pasha in the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War. Later, he became the Sultan's Adjutant and the teacher of the Princes. Later, he became the aide of the Sultan and the teacher of the Princes. In 1883, he was transferred to the Ministry of Military Schools with the rank of Liva (Brigadier-General), and in 1891, he was transferred to the Tophane-i Amire Marshal by protecting this Ministry, and he successfully carried out his duties for many years. He remained in these positions until the declaration of the II. Constitutional Monarchy in 1908. After the proclamation of the II. Constitutional Monarchy, he was demoted and exiled to Rhodes in 1909. He died on his return from Rhodes in 1914 in Büyükada, Istanbul.
