Abstract (EN)
Compound verbs that are a part of syntax and also need to be examined at the lexical level; It is one of the important elements of language with its structure, functioning and semantic aspects. These structures are language elements in which more than one morphological element is brought together to meet an action. In this respect, they are at the forefront of clustering that contributes to the expressive power of the language and the concept acceptance processes. Compound verbs are generally classified under titles such as those formed with main auxiliary verbs, idiomatic / stereotyped compound verbs, descriptive verbs and complex verbs according to their formation forms. Compound verbs are known to be ahead of other word groups in terms of frequency of use in texts in the historical development of the Turkish language. For this reason, studies on compound verbs are important in terms of determining both vocabulary and syntactic features. Another issue as important as the determination of compound verbs is how these structures act in terms of establishment and function in the historical process. Comparative studies on this subject, based on the works given in the historical periods of Turkish, will provide concrete data that will enable the course of compound verb phrases to be seen in terms of structure and organization. In this study, a comparative study was made about the compound verbs in the Khwarezm Turkish and Old Anatolian Turkish copies of Nehcü'l-Ferâdis. Compound verbs were examined in terms of their establishment and elements in their structures in the comparison. Compound verbs that were determined were classified and evaluated under the titles of main auxiliary verbs, idiomatic / stereotyped compound verbs, descriptive verbs and complex verbs. In addition, it has been tried to reveal the similarities and differences between the two terms by considering the compound verb structures expanded with the complements. Evaluation and determinations were compared by supporting with tables and graphics. The data obtained, as well as revealing the structural characteristics of the compound verbs, also enable the disappearance of Turkish vocabulary to be brought to light.
