Abstract (EN)

A new generation of insecticides, the neonicotinoids, are increasingly getting popular for controlling insect pests on crops and pets. Imidacloprid and clothianidin are novel and broad-spectrum insecticide, which are ones of the latest members of the synthetic organic insecticides, the neonicotinoids. Aim of this study, demonstrates the effects of new generation pesticide on biochemical parameters in S. cerevisiae. S. cerevisiae was used in the experiment. Development and proliferation of S. cerevisiae was provided in YEDP growth medium. Pesticide groups were prepared to 2, 4 and 8 µl concentration, and allowed to incubation for 72 hours at 30°C. At the end of the incubation; GHH, total protein, MDA and antioxidant enzyme analyzes were performed to obtain supernatant and fatty acid and vitamin analyzes from the pellet. As a result, pesticides were determined to have different effects on biochemical parameters of S. cerevisiae. Although the mechanisms underlying the alteration in biochemical parameters levels in S. cerevisiae after the different doses pesticide treatments have not been elucidated, pesticide exposure may have inhibitory or stimulating effects on the activity of the enzymes responsible for the transcription of the respective parameters. The results will be a source for similar studies on other living models and will contribute to the knowledge of the literature as support for future studies using in vivo systems.
