Niğde ekolojik koşullarında farklı sulama düzeylerinin lavanta (Lavandula officinalis) bitkisi gelişimine ve yağ kalitesi üzerine etkilerinin araştırılması

This research was conducted in 2022 and 2023 in the application and research area in the open field of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies. A drought trial established on Lavandula officinalis plant, which includes 4 different irrigation levels (100% Irrigation, 66.6% Irrigation, 33.3% Irrigation, 0% Irrigation), 1 The experiment was created in a randomized block design with 3 replications and 45 plants in each replication. The research was conducted on lavandula plants planted in May 2018. Cow manure was given once after planting in 2018 and twice in 2019-2022. Cow manure applied once after weeding control, 1500gr/plant same for all plants. In terms of irrigation levels, since IRR 1 (100%), IRR 2 (66,6%) and IRR 3 (33,3%) and IRR 4 (0%) are statistically in the same group in many parameters, IRR-3 (33.3% ) irrigation level has been suggested considering the irrigation water saving. The aim of this study, which is planned and applied to measure the response of Lavandula plant to determine plant development and oil quality in field conditions and to determine the effectiveness of drought applications on plant growth and some physiological stress parameters with the application of different irrigation levels. When the data obtained in the research were examined, it was found that growing environments and irrigation levels had an effect on the physiological development of lavender. As a result of the research, it was determined that Lavandula could be grown successfully with less irrigation and fertilization in the Niğde region.
