Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out in order to determine some physicochemical and microbiological properties of 8 drinking and usage water in water tanks located at different points of Niksar (Tokat) district and drinking and usage water taken after entering and leaving the purifier in houses with home type purifiers in the neighborhoods where these waters go, packaged Pet bottle Natural Spring Water belonging to 10 different brands and recycled 19 L polycarbonate carboy drinking water belonging to 5 different brands. Physicochemical analyzes were carried out according to standard analysis methods, microbiological analyzes were carried out according to membrane filtration and pour plate methods. All water samples were taken according to the sampling principles of the Regulation on Water Intended for Human Consumption dated 17.02.2005 and numbered 25730. Obtained results were evaluated according to ITASHY, TS266 and WHO (2011) data. According to the analysis results; no physicochemical and microbiological incompatibility has been detected in packaged PET bottles and 19 L recycled water bottles. E.coli and coliform were detected in one tank and E.coli was detected in one tanks in the samples taken from the tank waters. E.coli and coliform were detected in 3 of the tap waters taken from the households before treatment, E.coli in one and coliform in one. No microbial contamination was observed in any of the samples taken after treatment. It was concluded that treatment devices are effective in removing microbiological pollution. However, after treatment, serious differences were observed in the physicochemical properties of the waters, and it was determined that the pH value of a sample was not in accordance with the standards. All water samples were found to be in compliance with the standards in terms of the total number of colonies at 22 °C. With the Integrated Water Project, which is still in progress in the district, it has been concluded that the pollution in tap and storage water is temporary, and that the pollution caused by wear and water leaks in the transmission line pipes will be prevented with the completion of the Project.
