Abstract (EN)

Crime is the same age as history of humanity and fact which lives from past to present and changes with the society. Lots of different diciplines of science did lots of works by their own deciplines abouth crime. The science of Geography is a kind of science which examines the crime by their own deciplined and method. Geographical area is very importand for crime. The place where the crime is happened, the relationship between reason and result belongs to the crime scene investigation of Geography. İn this work; the types of crime's distribution which occured in Ödemiş is tried to be associated with the geographical features of city and geographical features of city are estimated of crimes. The dates between 2007-2012 which got from Ödemiş Police Headquartes by taking permission are examined by analize. Security respansibility area contains the city improvement area. Datums and Daily events reports which are got from Police headquarters collected by taking into consideration of all the year with the datas, the maps are obtained the ward and streets pinpoint distribution by sperating the types af the crimes. With this work, some results which are exaimed are distributed with the relationship of the geographical features of the area. City, climate, population, inveteracy, economic and socia-culturel features have great effect on crimes and crime types. City's high trade fuction couses the detailed work of marketplace. With this function the crimes of Ödemiş Marketplace are examined as a different part. The studies of crime geography in Turkey are limited because of the difficulties to get the information. The increases of this kind of work can cause the increases of getting datas for these works and also can be worked more detailed and more comprehensive.
