Abstract (EN)

In this study, a photodiode was fabricated by using the solution obtained from the extract of the Stachys lavandulifolia plant, commonly called pink cotton lamb's ear, at the interface. The optical properties of the interfacial organic material of this device were determined by U-V measurements taken in the 180-900 nm wavelength range, and the absorbance peak value was calculated at 330-340 nm wavelength and the forbidden energy range was calculated as 3.2 eV. Using the spin coating method, p-Si was coated on its shiny surface as a thin film in 60 seconds at 1400 rpm. Surface roughness was examined using an atomic force microscope. In order to understand the photovoltaic performance of the obtained devices, barrier height, ideality factor, series resistance, shunt resistance and rectification ratio parameters were calculated from the current-voltage (I-V) characteristic obtained under different light intensities between 30-100 mW/cm2 with the dark and sun simulator. The ideality factor of the diode in the dark was obtained as 1.43 which is the closest value to ideality. Another different calculation is the short circuit current (Isc), open circuit voltage (Voc), maximum current (Imax), maximum voltage (Vmax), filling factor (FF) and solar energy efficiency (η) values obtained from current-voltage measurements under 30-100 mW/cm2 light intensity. The frequency-related diode characteristic with the organic interface was investigated not only by changing a physical parameter but also by a different physical stimulus. To examine the frequency-dependent diode parameters, capacity, conductivity and series resistance diode parameters were examined in the range from 5 to 5000 kHz.
