Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the structure of terrorist organizations in the Middle East region and the emergence processes of these organizations are examined from the perspective of Political Psychology, which is an interdisciplinary field. The psychological motivations of terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda, DAESH and the Taliban have been tried to be analyzed. How these structures in the region emerged and what the contributions of the states as well as the occupying forces were to this process were examined. In addition, the social structure of the people of the region and the psychological structures of the individuals who became militants were examined. In addition to these studies, the formation processes of organizations and the lives of their leaders, as well as ideological motivations, were also examined. Examples from psychological cases and the evaluation of the psychological state of the local people through the interviews followed are included.
