Abstract (EN)
The present study has aimed to determine the conflict fields between teachersand administrators on duty at official high schools and their compromise levels at theseconflict fields.Data have been collected from the groups of randomly selected 300 teachers and55 administrators on duty at high schools in Bolu city center. The data for the presentstudy have been collected by means of the measure developed by Yiğit (1996) andanalyzed by SPSS program. For determining the levels of conflict and compromisebetween teachers and administrators; per-cent, frequency, mean and standard deviationhave been used for each statement. An independent samples t test has been used foranalyzing and determining whether or not there is a significant difference between theanswers of teachers and those of administrators.Generally, it has been determined that teachers and administrators on duty athigh schools have ?little? conflict level ( X :2,79), and they have ?medium?compromise level ( X :4.07) in conflicting issues.Conflict, School administrator, Organizational conflict,Keywords:Compromise.
