Abstract (EN)
In the study, the main goal is to compare the grammatical errors on social media platform and the linguistic mistakes done during lessons by primary school students. The observation was done in 2014-2015 academic year second term, where was achieved in Ankara Semiha İsen Ortaokulu, 100. Yıl Ortaokulu and Sühendam Kürklü Ortaokulu. Relational screening model was used at this study. The compositons written, the shares uploaded in Facebook and demographic based survey results which was all answered by primary school 8th grade students was analyzed by the tools respectively; t-test, unrelated t-test sample and mono-factored ANOVA. In the study there was observed that, mostly in Facebook usage, students had mistakes on writing rules, punctuality and cohesiveness. In additon there was also a result obtained that students were mostly aware of their linguistic mistakes on social media platform, although they are known about their mistakes they were still do not take attention to their language.
