Abstract (EN)
The importance of using composite materials in industry is increasing day by day. For this reason, composites are developed by using different matrices and reinforcement elements with superior and desired properties In this thesis, eight-layer hybrid composite plates were produced using twill (twill) and plain woven E-glass fabric and carbon fabric fibers as a reinforcement element and an epoxy resin system (F ‐ RES21 / F ‐ HARD22) as a matrix. Notchless, 0o, 15o, 30o, 45o, 60o, 75o, 90o notch angle, [(0o/90o)2]s layering arrangement, (0o/90o) orientation angle, straight and twill two different fibers glass-carbon / epoxy hybrid laminated composite plates in mesh type were prepared. Considering all these, classification was made for composite layers in 8 different typologies. Buckling tests were performed for all group types of all these samples. Buckling motions were determined in these tests to be compared with each other. It was investigated how the fabric type, layering arrangement, notch, and orientation angles affect the buckling motions. In all experiments, it was concluded that the buckling motions of twill knitted carbon fabric in the second group in terms of fabric is better. However, it has been determined that the buckling motions of carbon fiber as fiber is better than glass fiber. In terms of notch angle, it is understood that angles without notch are better. [0c/90c/0c/90c/90c/0c/90c/0c] sequence has been found to be more durable in terms of stratification sequence. It is also concluded that the Twill knitting type is generally better than the Plain knitting type.
