Abstract (EN)

Aim of that study which was in comparative design, is examining whether there was a significant difference in the evaluations of the mothers having children with autism spectrum disorder and their teachers relating to the children's social communication skills. The study group consist of mothers and teachers of 30 children with autism spectrum disorder at the pre-linguistic stage. The research was carried out as descriptive using survey model. The data of the research was gathered through data collection form and for the purpose of evaluations of children's social communication skills the study was to adapt the the revised social communication checklist (SCC-R-PTV) for children with ASD. At the end of the study it is seen that there is not a meaningful differences between the mothers and teachers evaluation scores. Similarly, no significant difference between the mothers and teachers social communication skill evaluation score by the mother education level was found. The mothers having children with autism spectrum disorder an their teachers social communication skill evaluation was analyzed. As a result of analyses, It has been concluded that the compatibility between scale items is low-average.
