Impulse Control Dısorders in Parkınson?s Disease and releation between Impulse Control Dısorders and Dopaminergic TheraphySummaryDr. Sevgi GÖKIn this study we evaluated relation of impulse control disorders with Parkinson? s disease (PD) and medication. One hundred PD patients who admitted to Movement disorders outpatient clinic between 1 January ? 30 June 2010 were enrolled to the study. A questionnary form including questions for impulse control disorders were applied to the patients. Patients with Parkinson plus disorders, medication related parkinsonism and vascular parkinsonism were excluded from the study.Compulsive eating disorder, pathological gambling, hypersexuality, and obsessive compulsive disorders were found higher in patiens using DA and L Dopa together.We did not detect pathological buying and compulsive alcohol abuse and substransce dependence in our patients. Our results were similar with the literature.In conclusion, impulse control disorders was found higher in patients using Da and L dopa together than patients using DA or L dopa alone.
