Abstract (EN)
The importance of the concept of capital is increasing day by day for businesses. In intensely competitive global and local markets, it is not easy for many businesses to access financing. This is a much more challenging factor for small businesses and new ventures. Entrepreneurs and small businesses that need funds to start and sustain their financial activities usually resort to bank loans, which is the most classical and well-known method. The fact that banks do not lend to small businesses and enterprises, high interest rates and various legal obstacles have created a need for alternative sources of financing. Alternative financing methods such as angel investment and venture capital have become increasingly popular. However, the crowdfunding model, which was born as an alternative to these methods that cannot fully respond to the demand for various reasons, attracts attention with its rapidly developing infrastructure and the amount of funds it collects. In this thesis, information about the share-based crowdfunding model, which is a sub-type of the crowdfunding financing model, will be given and its importance in the financing of enterprises will be emphasized.
