In the introduction part of the study; the subject, purpose, method, basic concepts and limitations of the research are determined. In the first part, the information is given about life of Tillich, the basic concepts used are analyzed and differentiation of existentialism is made. In the second part, Tillich's view of God and the relation of religion with other fields are examined and found a way to conclusion. As a result, Tillich has benefited from the philosophical tradition. The tradition has gained momentum by giving it dynamism thanks to Tillich. Tillich's effort is a struggle to unite God of philosophy and God of religion. While explaining the relation of religion to other fields, he emphasizes the originality of each field within itself. However, this originality emphasizes that these areas do not interfere with each other. Tillich also states that culture and religion are different faces of each other. He uses the concept of protestant principle to explain that dynamism of these areas continued in our dynamism of life.
