Abstract (EN)
In this study, the wing flapping mechanism of a micro air vehicle (MHA), which was designed and produced by taking inspiration from dragonflies, was driven by a piezoelectric actuator developed as a result of experimental data. Instead of using longitudinal vibrations as in the literature, the bending and torsional vibrations of two longitudinally attached square-section piezoelectric (PZT) crystal rods with a neodymium magnet at one end were converted into a continuous linear motion by applying the impulse drive mechanism (PIM) method and used as the driving force of the flapping wing micro air vehicle wing mechanism designed by taking inspiration from dragonflies through biomimetic within the scope of this thesis.
