Abstract (EN)
Powder stellite is coated on the valve angle parts by plasma spray method. The purpose of this coating is to strengthen the valve angle surfaces that are in constant contact with the trunk surface. Especially for the valves used in LPG vehicles, the stellite coating provides a significant increase in the valve life. In LPG, there are serious abrasions on the parts that the combustion comes into direct contact with. These wears are too much on the valves, which we call the heart of the engine. Stellite is coated on the valve angle surfaces in order to prevent wear to a certain extent. A literature search will be made in order to provide interpretation of coating defects and abrasions in stellite coated valves.
