Political and economic ties between Türkiye and Vietnam

The primary goal of the thesis is to add a thorough and current narrative of the relationship between Türkiye and Vietnam to the literature of political science. There will be increased cooperation between Türkiye and Vietnam due to their positive relations. As a result, the requirement for academic study between these two countries is clarified. To narrow it down, the field of political and economic ties has been chosen to be examined. Furthermore, a clearer understanding of this relationship can be obtained by looking at the time frame in which Türkiye decided to approach ASEAN and later the Asia Anew Initiative. When doing this, it's simpler to assess the question after a certain amount of time. The structure of applying to ASEAN and the Asia Anew Initiative before and after can be used in this situation. In other words, the ups and downs of this relationship will reveal whether the approach and initiative are successful. The thesis will contend that the ASEAN method has made it simpler for relations to develop between the two nations, and initiatives have served to increase mutual respect and trust between Türkiye and Vietnam while also increasing the scope and duration of cooperation. It will, however, also point out some restrictions and difficulties that must be overcome for the relationship to realize its full potential. The thesis will conclude with some policy recommendations for both parties to further their strategic cooperation and conversation in light of a shifting regional and global order. The main objectives and components of the initiative, the relationship before the initiative, the current level of collaboration in the listed fields, potential growth opportunities, concerns that may arise, and Türkiye's evolving approaches to ASEAN and its impact on Türkiye-Vietnam relations are all covered in this study.
