Medical manifestations of popular piety: A sociological research on religious healing

Disease and health have existed at every stage of human life. The tonal field, whose birth is unknown, is progressing by preserving its continuity and developing. The points that come to mind when it comes to health and illness are medicine, surgery, nurse, doctor, and religious elements that have an important place in the life of humanity make themselves felt in this field. Especially in the early ages, the religious field comes to the fore in terms of being healthy and producing treatment. In our study, the search for healing on the axis of the disease and its treatment, the development of religious healing and medicine will be evaluated in the perspective of popular culture.
