Abstract (EN)
This research was planned and carried out experimentally in order to examine the effect of gender, age, clinical diagnostic, weight, stimulus, moisture, nutrition, hemoglobin value, heat, Braden Risk Scale, position frequency, as we call duration of position, on pressure ulcer formation. In the study, patients were divided into three groups with five patients in each and determined positioning time was conducted to these groups and the results were recorded on a form. After the patients in the first group were given positions per one hour, in turn, the second group was given positions per two hours, the third group was given positions per three hours and the results were recorded on the forms for each patient for one week. Patients in the research were selected randomly. Although the patient follow-ups couldn't be initiated simultaneously and intergroup position periods weren't started at the same time, the research was carried out by completing the number of patients in each group. According to the results of the research, it was found out that the body temperature had no significant effect on the formation of pressure ulcers (p>0.05). According to the meaurement results of the patients, the duration of the position had an effect on the formation of pressure ulcer (p<0.05) and while considering priority, it was the most influential factor (x2=779.4992 p<0.05). When the corelation between the duration of position was considered, it was obvious that there was a strong relationship between them (r:0.896 p<0.05) After calcutating the rate of formation of pressure ulcer in patients, as a result of analysis performed it was concluded that when the duration of position decrease, there was a decrease in the rate of formation of pressure ulcer in patients too (K-Wallis:11.667 p<0.05). As a resault it was clear that the duration of the position and other factors had an impact on formation of the pressure ulcer and a smart bed that can calculate all the parameters of the patient and change positions frequently was recommended.
