Herbal remedies are commonly used in treatment of Diabetes mellitus in society. One of the most common herbs that they used was golden berry (Physalis peruviana). In this research, they first picked 10 healthy and 10 prediabetic people. In the process of research, they first feed these people only with 135 gram golden berry and then they took their blood sample with in an hour and they researched the blood glucose and insulin on the blood samples. They soon realizes that there was no significant difference of blood glucose level on both groups. However there was significant difference of insulin level with the people who had prediabetic, as the test results shows fasting (p=0,001), first hour (p= 0,008..) and 2nd. hour (p=0,002). Golden berry could use for insulin secretion without increasing blood glucose. In addition the people who are are risk of having diabetics would have use it as fruits. The effect of golden berries over diabetics' insulin secretion should be researched. Key Words: Prediabetic, Golden Berry, Glucose, Insulin
