Abstract (EN)
This research was conducted to examine the voice usage habits of professional football players and Their knowledge levels about voice hygiene and voice diseases. In this research, which was conducted with the screening model, the questionnaire, which was prepared as a data collection tool in accordance with the purpose and duration of the research, was applied to a total of 103 professional football players, 100 male and 3 female, working in 12 cities. As a result of the survey, it was determined that professional football players do not carry any risk in terms of vocal usage habits, they attach sufficient importance to vocal hygiene, and their knowledge level about voice diseases and behaviors that damage the voice mechanism is above the average. It is predicted that the knowledge of professional football players, who are heavy voice users in the football field, in terms of healthy voice use can be increased and voice disorders will decrease if they are properly informed in terms of voice use.
