The impact of psychological capital on burnout syndrome: A survey on health care workers

İn this Study, it is tried to given information about Psychological capital approach with Burnout Syndrome. The main purpose of the study is to be able to determine the effect of psychological capital levels of health workers on burnout syndrome. The study is made on 228 health workers working in private and public health institutions located in Gemlik province of Bursa. For the research, a survey was applied from 55 questions formed from personal information form, Luthans Psychological Capital Scale and Maslach Burnout Scale. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between psychological capital and burnout syndrome, frequency and reliability analyzes, regression analysis for psychological capital effects on burnout syndrome by utilizing the programme SPSS 22. As a result of the analyzes made, it is reached that the psychological capital levels of the health workers affect the burnout syndrome in a meaningful and negative directional. According to this result, as the level of psychological capital of the employees increases, the levels of burnout are expected to decrease.
