Abstract (EN)

Cognitive biases such as Jumping to Conclusions (JTC) and Bias Against Disconfirmatory Evidence (BADE) have been implicated in the delusion formation and maintenance. In line with the continuum approaches to psychosis, such biases have been observed not just in clinical populations but also in otherwise healthy individuals with psychotic-like experiences. Current study aimed to assess JTC and BADE biases in a community sample with a novel paradigm. The results of the current study showed that a tendency to arrive hasty decisions and belief inflexibility in the face of new information might be present in people with psychosis proneness in their daily interactions.
