Abstract (EN)
Radiation therapy, which is known as beam therapy, is a frequently used treatment method especially due to the increase in the number of cancer cases. In this treatment method, the tumor is removed from the tumor by exposing it to various particles, ions or rays. Gamma rays are widely used in such treatments. The gamma energy to be used is determined according to the features of the tumor (the location and the size of the tumor). Posting the appropriate energy beam to the appropriate region forms the basis of the radiotherapy. In this study, the CERN GEANT4 Monte Carlo code will be used for electron-gamma conversion using the new generation target materials for use in gamma therapy applications. In addition, with the different energetic gamma rays obtained, the entire body will be irradiated and the dose values to which the organs are exposed will be calculated
