Abstract (EN)
In this study, 20 taxa [R. trichophyllus Chaix ex Vill., R. repens L., R. constantinopolitanus (DC.) d'Urv., R. damascenus Boiss. & Gaill., R. sericeus Banks & Sol., R. kotschyi Boiss., R. illyricus subsp. illyricus L., R. fenzlii Boiss., R. arvensis L., R. dissectus M. Bieb. subsp. huetii (Boiss.) P.H. Davis, R. macrorrhynchus subsp. trigonocarpus (Boiss.) P.H. Davis, R. isthmicus Boiss. subsp. stepporum P.H. Davis, R. poluninii P.H. Davis, R. sintenisii Freyn, R. munzurensis S. Erik & Yıld., R. crateris P.H. Davis, R. vanensis P.H. Davis, R. kochii Ledeb., R. rumelicus Griseb., R. cornutus DC.] belonging to Ranunculaceae family were examined in terms of palynological properties by using Light Microscope (LM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Microphotographs of the pollen in the pollen preparations prepared by the Wodehouse method were taken. As a result of the morphological examinations, it has been determined that the pollen sizes, aperture types and numbers differ between taxa. 15 taxa of pollen are with colpus, 4 taxa are porus and 1 of them are without aperture. All of the taxa studied have a tectum on the exine. In some taxa, exine structures called insula have been observed. Although most of them are 3 colpate, 4-5 or multi-colpate (rarely spiraperturate), periporate and inaperturate have also been seen. The types of pollen that have colpi are 3-4-5 or pericolpate, the shape is prolate-spheroidal, sculpture scabrate, perforate. The type of pollen possessing pora is periporate, its shape is prolate-spheroidal, sculpture scabrate, perforate. The pollen form of the taxa (R. arvensis), which is the inaperturate, is prolate spheroidal, sculpture echinate, scabrate, perforate. Keywords: Ranunculaceae, Ranunculus, Pollen Morphology, LM, SEM.
