Abstract (EN)

Testicular torsion is one of the important reasons leading to acute scrotum in theage of infancy and adolescence.. assosiated with torsiıon degree and duration,returned tothe correction of the cord as a result of the formation of SOR consists of ischemiareperfusioninjury so serious injury occurs due to both testes. Injury occurring in thegonads may result in subinfertilite / infertility. For duration and degree of torsion can notbe changed studies in order to prevent structural failure of testicular concentrated in theperiod after detorsion.we also research medical ozone?s effects against ischemiareperfusioninjury in testicular torsion and availability as a treatment modality in thisstudy.Being 8 for each group , it was worked on 4 groups of rat. Testical tortion wasformed by rotating left testicle 720 degree clockwise. Group 1 was sham group. In group 2, tortion was aplied , we waited for 2 hours and orchiectomy was aplied 24 hours later afterdetortion. In group 3 , tortion was aplied and after waiting 2 hours before the detortion ,1mg/kg intraperitoneal medical ozone was aplied and after 24 hours , orchiectomy wasapplied. In group 4 , before detortion and after 24 hours from detortion 1mg/kg dosageintraperitoneal medikal ozone was applied two times at total and orchiectomy was apliedafter 24 hours of the the second dosage. In testical tortion , the effect of medical ozone forpreventing reperfusion damage was showed biochemicaly by transfixing tissue MDAlevels which are lipid peroxidation index and histopatalogical effect is showed by damagerating and testical biopsy scorings.In this work , it is shown MDA levels are decreased meaningfully at the groupswhich medical ozone was aplied and at the group 3, 4 and 2' s left testicals MDA levelscomparisions was found statistically significance(p<0,005). With histopatalogicalinspection , at the groups which medical ozone was aplied , ischemia-reperfusion damagewhich occured in the testicals, decreased meaningfully and was seen statisticallymeaningfull. (p<0,005). Medical ozone which aplied just before or after the reclamation oftestical tortion being decreasing the reperfusion damage which occured at the torsionedtestical might be effective at biochemical and histopatalogical levels is understood from theachieved findings.Key words: testicular torsion, ischemia-reperfusion injury,medical ozone
