Determination of dyeing kinetics and diffusion coefficients of reactive dyes in microwave media

Abstract (EN)

In this study, the cotton fabric of the fiber C.I. Reactive Red 141 and C.I. Reactive Yellow 138:1 dyeing was investigated with microwave media. In dyeing studies L (195.5 W), ML (460W), M (759W) microwave levels, cotton fabric was examined with reactive dyestuff dyeing period. The dyeing results for each microwave level were measured with K / S ratios. The data obtained in the dyeing studies according to the microwave power were converted to zero, first and second order velocity equations. Dyeing kinetics were found to fit the first order speed equations. The velocity constants of the first order velocity equation were calculated. It was also determined that the staining increased in direct proportion to the duration.
