Abstract (EN)
In this study, our aim is to make an evaluation of the interplay between environment-based cues, namely speed, scene complexity and stereoscopic rendering parameters, and the discomfort felt in the form of cybersickness due to VR experience with head-mounted-displays. This study provides a broad and combined analysis of these cues in a fully controlled VE. The effects were investigated using the EEG and Eye tracking data as well as the self-reported discomfort measures collected from the participants. The statistical analysis reveals connections between cybersickness and the collected biometric markers. It also reveals the biometric response differs with the type of stimulus causing the cybersickness, implying detection of the cause is possible by examining biometric data.
