Religion is a holy order sent by Allah via Prophets to show the right way to humans living together in the complex social order and to provide a life in the way that suitable for human dignity. Religion is social reflection of will to faith that exists in psychic structure of human. Beginning of religion is as old as human history and since then, it has been the most important factor that affects the humans and societies in each period. During the historical process there has been no irreligious society. In the human history religion is highly important and there are many effects on the communal living. The religion shaping the societies is described in different ways by people. Because of the fact that there is an interaction between the religion and society, the symbols have been occurred. Through religious symbols, individuals can reflect easily their faiths, religious thoughts and way of their religious. They become coherent generally through symbols that reflect different religious terms of social way of lives. Here, in this study, the topic is in the novels of important authors of Turkish Literature "Yeşil Gece" by Reşat Nurti Güntekin, "Nur Baba" by Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu, "Kadınlar Tekkesi" by Refik Halit Karay what the religious patterns are and how these religious expressions are symbolized with regards to Turkish literature.
