Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT In the 20th century, with the effect of changes in scientific and cultural developments, new situations began to emerge among art disciplines. These new situations are defined by terms such as 'interdisciplinary', 'multidisciplinary' and 'transdisciplinary'. The relations of art practices with each other in the 20th century provided the basis for interdisciplinary structures and led to the formation of multidisciplinary forms of production. These intermedia structures appear to be the result of interactions of many currents and movements. In the interdisciplinary structure, the artist works with a single artist, benefiting from many disciplines, while the multidisciplinary structure involves the production and interaction of people from different disciplines. Today everything produced is at a point that transcends the boundaries of its own discipline and has a structure that incorporates the possibility of other fields and applies it in practice. Transdisciplinarity is based on the direct representation of other disciplines in that focus or process in a disciplinary focus. With the addition of new mediums, the existence of the art of painting as a discipline is subject to transdisciplinary contexts with the participation of various disciplines as mediums, and the works of disciplines in today's art necessitates to look as transdisciplinary. This study will be a structural research; The structural relationship between the art of painting and the concept of space will be comprehended through the concept of transdisciplinary. In the research, the concept of space will be dealt with in the context of painting, and the layers of existence will be tried to be revealed as an indicator of transdisciplinary. In the context of this research, the concept of space will be the paradigm of the study to be examined in the context of painting. Nowadays, the artist (painter) is able to make pictorial productions in the possibility of an architecture, sound or digital technologies based on painting. Psychics in different perception ranges now occupy a place in the picture. Mediums in different perception ranges now take a place in the picture. In this regard, it is seen that various disciplines view this situation from their own perspectives with concepts such as multiple perception and multiple intelligence. The artist is now at an equal distance from what the objective world has to offer. The artist can establish a space or a text from own practice in view of the peculiarities of own practice. When the space is examined from the painting practice, it can be seen that painting can still be mentioned. In this research, it is aimed to treat the phenomenon of space as a transdisciplinary approach in the context of painting and to examine space as an extremism in the discipline of painting. This extremism also transcends the medium of the artist's own range of perception. In the research titled "Space as an Indicator of Transdisciplinarity in the Context of Painting" from the framework of painting art, space; the discipline is examined as an extremism on three axes: illusion space, real space and virtual space. Keywords: Transdisciplinarity, Space, Illusion space, Real space, Virtual space
