Abstract (EN)
In this study, the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) movement which emerged as a new religious movement with unitarian and evangelical character in Philippines examined. This study consists of an introduction and three main parts. In the introduction part, the method of the research and the main sources used in the study are mentioned. In the first chapter, the historical process of Iglesia ni Cristo is discussed. In this context, political, socio-cultural and religious condition in the Philippines, the life of Felix Y. Manalo, the founder of the Church, the establishment and development of the Church and relations with other Christians are revealed. In the second part, the belief systems and understanding of worship of Iglesia ni Cristo are examined. Accordingly, the Church's theological understanding of God, scripture, destiny, devil, sin, afterlife etc. and worship practices such as baptism and prayer revealed. The third and final chapter deals with the organization and activities of the Church in general. The administrative structure of the church, its name and origin, symbol, financial resources, temples, various educational and health institutions as well as its media organs are analyzed under this section. In addition, the activities of the Church in various fields and the world records that has broken are also mentioned in this section. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation of all sections has been made in the light of the findings have been obtained.
