Abstract (EN)

Ahmedi is one of the important poets of Classical Turkish Litrary in 14th century. Although he derived his book Cemsid u Hursid's plot from Salman-i Saveci, he finally reconcile it. Mathnawies, which passed into our literature from Persian Litrary and is one of the most used verse configuration in Classical Turkish Litrary, are classes of literature which depend on verbalism and functionned as novel and story for the society when they were written. In this study, The relation, the differences and simalarities between novel class and Ahmedi's Cemsid u Hursid is analised and it is questionned that how much of the characteristics, components and techniques of the novel class does his book involves. Consequently, it is understood that Mathnawies contain many components that novels include but it differs from a novel in accuracy and counciously usage of novel class components and in giving details, and hence it can be said that it contains some characteristics and components that are peculiar to novel.
