Abstract (EN)

It is known that the violence, which we may encounter in daily life, is not too far from the healthcare professionals who carry out their jobs. In this study, it is aimed to be associated with the detailed examination of the concept of health by considering violence, its history and different approaches. For this purpose, forming a scale of the factors affecting the incidence of violence against health workers in Turkey are required to set out the size of their relationship. In this relationship, while the dependent variable is expressed as the frequency of the health worker being subjected to violence, our independent variables were created under the terms of socio-demographic characteristics, social characteristics, safety conditions, social patterns. The content of the study includes explanatory information about logistic regression analysis. The technique of our study was determined as sequential logistic regression analysis, which is a type of logistic regression analysis. The relationship between the violence that healthcare workers are exposed to and the variables that affect this violence is best expressed through the help of sequential logistic regression analysis. The basic assumptions of sequential logistic regression analysis and the proof of the relationship between the variables provide guidance in explaining the thesis. Keywords: Health, violence, ordinal logistic regression analysis, working environment, security conditions.
