Public order in the context of food safety

In this thesis, named "Public Order in the Context of Food Safety", food safety is approached as a component of public order's general health element. Within this framework, ensuring food safety is examined through national and international legislation as well as jurisprudence. In this work, general health's relationship with other elements of public order and the relationship between public health and public health services is studied. At first, some explanations about public order is made and the meaning of public health, with it's substance, is analyzed. Within this scope, the ways of ensuring public health and it's differences from the ways of ensuring other elements of public order is revealed. These ways of ensuring public health is examined within their relationship with fundamental rights and general principles of law, as well as the basic legislation in Turkey about public health through food safety, "Code of Veterinerian Services, Phitosanitary, Food and Forage".
