A research on the relationship between cyberloafing and labour productivity

Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to search the relationship between cyberloafıng and the labor productivity and aim to clarify how affect the cyberloafing on the labor productivity. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on the Asian and European Branches of Okuyan Customs Consultancy Company, which is a private sector organization. In order to obtain the research data, the survey technique was used as a quantitative research method. In this context, the survey was applied on 250 participants and the obtained data were analyzed with statistical package program (SPSS 22). Within the scope of the study, basic theoretical concepts related to cyberloafing and labor productivity have been mentioned and a research has been carried out. As a result of the study, it was concluded that there is no significant and meaningful relationship between major cyberloafing activities and labor productivity attitude perception, whereas there was a significant and meaningful relationship between minor cyberloafing activities and labor productivity attitude perception.
