Abstract (EN)

The aim of the thesis is ability of using SPAD-502 chlorophyll meter for identifying leaf iron contents of peach trees. For this purpose; two peach orchards were chosen on Soğucak district in Aydın. Peach species in the orchards which were chosen are respectively Spring Bella and Spring Lady. The Soil (0-30 cm ve 30-60 cm depths) and plant samples were taken from orchards. Physical and chemical analyses on soil samples and also chemical analyses on plant samples were done by using SPAD-502 chlorophyll meter. The realtionship between the values which are obtained from colorimeter device reading and the results which are obtained from soil analysis were investigated. As a result; respective device reading correlated not only with plant total Fe and active Fe ingredient but also soil absorbable Fe content. It is concluded that Zn, Cu, Mn, B and P elements can be added to the separameters. Soil lime content, soildepth, species of plant, fertilization, irrigation, spraying, tillage can effectif the values which were taken from calorimeter has or hasnt got important relation with the parameter which were mentioned before.
