Abstract (EN)
This research aims to determine the characteristics of Selman Ada as a composer, conductor, correpetitor and administrator. In this qualitative research, literature review and interview techniques were utilized. It is thought that the research will reveal the composer, conductor, correpetitor and administrative aspects of Selman Ada. At the same time, it is thought that it would be beneficial for both professional and amateur musicians to know and introduce Ada's compositional, conducting, correpetition and administrative aspects. Due to the details it contains about Ada, the research has a structure that will lay the groundwork for future projects and activities specific to Ada. In addition, it is also important in terms of the lack of sufficient number of studies on Ada to date. In the study, it was concluded that Ada was a pianist at the soloist level, a high-level conductor, a master correpetitor, and created resources that would be useful in music and especially in piano education, but his recognition both in our country and in the world remained at a low level.
