An ecological evaluation on Sera Lake Nature Park's avi̇fauna

The aim of the study is to reveal the presence of bird diversity in Sera Lake Nature Park. Within the scope of the study, the species richness and species diversity of the area were revealed, and the abundance, frequency and dominance analyzes of the species were made. The study was carried out with 42 field observations between September 2019 and March 2021. As a result of the study, 132 bird species belonging to 36 families were identified. It has been determined that 24 of the identified species are native, 15 are winter migrant, 51 are migratory and 42 are transit migrant. The data obtained as a result of the study indicate that the area temporally is an important breeding, feeding and lodging area for birds.
