Adventure of Minstrel Yazıcı Murtazâ (examination-text)

This studied work is registered in Ankara National Library with the catalog number 06 Mil Yz A 2428. The work was recorded to the catalog under the name "Eş'ar" and the author's name was Yazıcıoğlu Murtaza. As a result of the information obtained from the work, it was understood that the name of the author was not "Yazıcıoğlu Murtaza" but "Yazıcı Murtaza". Yazıcı Murtaza is an instrumentalist poet who was estimated to have lived from the late 17th to the mid-18th century. Yazıcı, whose information about his life is not found in the sources, was born in Gesi in H.1084 / M.1674. No information on the poet's mother and father was available. The death date of the Yazıcı is also unknown. It is understood from the work that the poet lived until H.1148 / M.1735. It is not known how long the poet lived after that. Our review consists of an introduction to the minstrel literature and three chapters. In the first part, the information about the life and literary personality of Yazıcı has been emphasized. In the second part, the work of Yazıcı; language and style, shape, literary arts and content. In the third and last part, the transcribed text of Yazıcı's work is given. Despite following the tradition of minstrel literature, Yazıcı also used the shapes and patterns of the divan literature tradition in his work. In his work, the poet has included more epic genres of the minstrel literature. From the Divan literature, it has included types such as dirge, epic, lugaz, and history. Yazıcı Murtaza is successful in using the syllable measurement. But he was not successful in using the measure of prosody. Yazıcı produced his work as thirteen juz. In these wallets, he covered different subjects in terms of content. The verse travelname in the work is the most remarkable text in the work. The place names mentioned in this poem and the information about them are important. Poetrist; as he is from Kayseri, he included a verse criticizing Kayseri's social life and another verse in which he criticized the tradesmen of this region. Another remarkable poetry in Yazıcı's work is the poem that explains the social and political structure of Istanbul.
