Abstract (EN)
The financial transactions have gained value as a result of world-wide economical development and increasing popularity of internet usage. With the increase in transactions, product range has been widened in the capital market and additionally; because of the fascilitator effects of the internet on market, transactions have become doable even in the international market. When both the existing state of financial transactions and the worldwide experience of crisis have been generally taken into consideration, a need for legal arrangement in our country has emerged in order to ensure the efficient and productive works in financial sector and avert the risks that system has generated. Thus, there have been arrangements on financial transactions at national and international levels. In this study, how the regulations on financial transactions are determined and reflected in Turkish law concerning the taken collaterals from capital market transactions is examined.
